School Introduction Since 1988, Canadian International College (CIC) has been providing innovative academic programs for international students.
CIC provides an academically stimulating, safe and comfortable learning environment for international students. Our beautifully landscaped campus situated on 6.5 acres is a place where students study in a quiet and secure park-like setting. Close to the ocean and mountains, students are still only minutes away from the busy metropolitan and multicultural city of Vancouver.
Our campus facilities include a 320 bed student residence, cafeteria, gymnasium and tennis court. Extracurricular programs and services provide a supportive and fun community, which fosters personal growth and development.
CIC was the first private college to be accredited by the Private Post Secondary Educational Commission in the Province of British Columbia.
ESL Program Introduction
CIC offers Academic ESL, University Preparation and Univeristy transfer programs.
The Liberal Arts Diploma Program consists of 20 university transfer courses, that can be completed in a minimum of 16 months. Prior to taking the Diploma program, students complete an Academic Bridge semester, designed to prepare students with the academic English and research skills necessary to succeed in a North American university setting. Students who need to improve their English language skills and increase their TOEFL score, can spend one or more semesters in the levelled Academic English program.
CIC has transfer credit arrangements with a number of universities whereby students receive up to 60 credits towards a bachelor's degree.
